The Geraldine

Geraldine is exquisitely beautiful and almost has an ethereal glow around her due to the remarkable print used to decorate her.  She could be used as a chest of drawers or as a display cabinet.

Geraldine’s masterpiece is the Virgin Mary by Hubert Eych painted in 1432.  It features the young Madonna sitting serenely as her face looks out from a cascade of hair.  Dressed in a deep-blue robe, the darkness of which is alleviated by a golden hem, decorated with jewels.

Her crown incorporates types of flowers-lilies, columbines and lily of the valley.  The rich colours of blues, greens and red within the piece will add an opulent warmth into the room you would choose to display her in.

Geraldine has a black eggshell painted interior within her three spacious drawers and has ornate gold handles. She also has a painted black top and side and details, including decals on her Queen Anne feet, are gilded in copper to add to her opulence.

As with all of The Eccentric Leopard’s pieces, Geraldine is protected with layers of hard wearing sealant on her print so that she remains perfect.
