Penelope is decorated with the sensational William Morris 1883, ‘Strawberry Thief’ print.  This is one of Morris’ most popular works of art and its subject is the thrushes that Morris would find stealing fruit on the kitchen gardens of his countryside home in Oxfordshire.

Penelope is an antique piece of furniture made from solid walnut that has been brought back to life. Her drawer has been oiled to reveal a stunning wood grain which is a gorgeous backdrop for her two original brass handles.

As with all of The Eccentric Leopard’s pieces, Penelope is protected with a hard wearing sealant on her print so that she remains perfect.
