The Ava

Introducing, The Ava.

Ava is an exquisite sideboard that would be a real statement piece in any room.  Not only beautiful but also incredibly functional, providing a stunning storage solution.

Ava is covered in William Morris’ Pimpernel print that he designed in 1876. The swirling rhythms and complex structure of this wallpaper actually made it the choice for Morris himself when decorating his dining room at Kelmscott House.

A stunningly beautiful classic Morris style floral trellis with circular shapes and a strong symmetrical pattern within the leaves. Shown in soft shades of pale yellow/green with rose pink details on a dark chocolate brown background.

The sideboard has two side cupboards and three draws in the centre. The top drawer has three storage compartments within it and has also been decoupaged in the same print as has the inside of the side doors.

Sections of the cabinets have been highlighted and gilded in gold and the wood grain restored and oiled on the two side doors to secure this piece being  truly unique.

As with all of The Eccentric Leopard’s pieces, Ava is protected with layers of hard wearing sealant on her print so that she remains perfect
